The flights have 1 stop in Montreal each way.

UPDATE: Lufthansa is now showing flights from Vancouver to Porto, Portugal for $658 CAD roundtrip. The flights have 1 stop each way in Frankfurt. Most dates are in late October and November. A few in Jan/Feb. You can also fly into Lisbon and then home from Porto for $603 roundtrip (details below).
