The cases are going to close not because there is no case against him. On the contrary, at least in the case of DC court, all evidences are now submitted to the judge and can be viewed by the public. The cases are closed because department of justice follows its internal rule that it cannot prosecute a sitting president.

there had been no need for the SCOTUS to rule on presidential immunity, simply because all presidents before Trump respects the constitution and democratic institutions. Most importantly, they all have decencies. The reason SCOTUS made such ruling this time around is the investigation of Trumps role in J6. And the SCOTUS wants to shield him from prosecution. So now he has the immunity. He can do whatever now.
