I'd like to find a girl friend in Edmonton.
You could call me Leaf, (because I am not a flower) and I grew up in Guangzhou where I spent most of my time in education and got my first degree in computing science, after which moved to Edmonton here in July 2002. Now I'm studying at the university for my second degree in operations management.
In general, as my name suggests, I'm a shy and peaceful boy who longs for a nice, quiet, and slow life. I'd like reading, playing chess and bridge, cooking, running, and so on, which are usually lack of ambitions.
But also one of my shortcomings is that, maybe because I'm a science student and I am shy, I don't know how to say some sweet words to make a girl happy, especially if she's beautiful and lovely. I tried to do so before, but often failed. I hope I could learn this skill soon. ^-^
Another of my shortcomings is that I often look for perfect in my study or work, which sometimes make things worse rather than better. Say, if it's impossible for me to get A in a course, but I still put much time and energy in it trying to get A. Sometimes it's good to do so, but sometimes it's bad, as we should not hold on things when we have to give them up. I'm trying to build this character too.
