After having talked about the word "freeze", I would like to say a few words about "frisk".
In English, police officers use the word "frisk" to express the meaning of searching somebody's clothings and body. They seldom say "search". Instead, they say "frisk". If you have ever watched the Movie "GodFather", you may remember Michael was frisked by the police officer (a sherrif?) before he went to bathroom. The police officer said something like" I have ever frisked thousands of people." Unfortunately, he did not know Michael hid the weapon in the bathroom in advance!
In really life, if a high-rank police officer dispatchs his colleagues to catch some dangerous criminals, he may say: "Don't forget to frisk dudes!"
